The general idea is that the boat transport costs fall between $2.5 and $3.5 for a boat having a beam width of 12 feet. The smaller the boat, the lesser it’ll cost.
So if the distance is 2,500 miles, and we take a base rate of $3 for a 12-foot yacht shipment going from the East coast to the West coast, then the cost can be (2,500 miles x $3) = $7,500.
